Dual heritage

This is a picture of my father and mother taken in 1980. My father came to Sheffield in the 1950s and worked in the steel industry. My mother spent much of her working life making sweets at Bassets. My father died of an heart attack while he was taking a walk in Toru, the village he was born in North West Frontier Province in 1985. You can read more about my views and experiences on being from a dual heritage background on the ‘About’ page.
